The evaluation is where everything begins. No commitment, no pressure — just a clear look at your dog, your goals, and the path between them.
Evaluation fee: $50
The full $50 is credited toward your training package if you enroll within 30 days of your evaluation. The fee is non-refundable.

Inside the evaluation
We talk first
We sit down with you and go over your dog's history, health, daily routine, what's working, and what isn't. Bring every question you've got.
We work with your dog
If appropriate, we'll work with your dog a little to get a baseline of where they're currently at — how they move, respond, and handle pressure.
We map the plan
We'll discuss our packages and pricing to see if we're the right trainer for you. If we are, we get you scheduled to begin lessons as soon as you are ready.
How to book

- 3. Tell us a bit about your dog and what you're hoping to work on.
- 4. You'll get a confirmation, and we'll see you at your appointment.

- Evaluation length & fee
- Training Evaluation — $50 Every training relationship begins with an evaluation. This allows us to meet you and your dog, discuss your goals, assess your dog's current skills and behavior, and determine the training approach that best fits your individual needs. The evaluation fee is non-refundable. However, if you choose to enroll in a Patriot Pawz training package following your evaluation, the full $50 evaluation fee will be applied toward the cost of your selected package. This means your evaluation isn't an additional cost when you move forward with training—it becomes part of your training investment. Evaluation credits are valid for 30 days following the evaluation and may be applied toward any Patriot Pawz training package.
- Where it takes place
- In your home, which is our preferred method. We currently serve most of the Northern Utah area. If you are outside our area we may still be able to help with an additional travel fee or virtual sessions.
- Vaccination requirements
- Dogs should be up to date on all vet-recommended vaccines.
- Rescheduling & cancellations
- Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited. The trainer reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, emergencies, illness, or unsafe conditions.
